About Me
Oi gente! I’m Fernanda Jardim (she/her), a creative Black Latina Immigrant living in Seattle (Duwamish Land). I’m trilingual (Brazilian Portuguese is my first language) and I’m extremely proud of my heritage and journey!
My professional background ranges from Event Planning to Travel Services to Program Management to eCommerce Fraud Analysis. I’m an entrepreneur at heart, I created and ran a successful business when I was 17 providing recreational services at birthday parties, I co-founded a Food Pantry at my college campus and created a podcast, Curlify the Outdoors, which earned a feature on Spotify’s Fresh Picks, alongside iHeartRadio, PopSugar and other big names. Outside of work, I spend time volunteering with causes dear to my heart.
As an outdoorsy girly in the PNW, I’m a proud dog mom and Subaru owner, Ivy (the dog) and monstera (the crosstrek) have gone together on thousands of adventure miles. Depending on the season, you can find me hiking, climbing, paddleboarding, and most recently, skiing. When not outside, I’m probably cuddling my dog, taking dance lessons, or a nap.
